Job summary

Ionic Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a specialist alternative education provider to recruit a passionate Teacher for secondary-aged learners facing barriers to mainstream education. You will deliver personalised lessons, support students with SEMH and SEND, and create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.

The role offers a salary of £30,000 - £42,000 DOE, funded CPD and wellbeing programmes, and career progression within a growing specialist provider with excellent

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching secondary-aged learners.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SEND and/or SEMH.
• Alternative Provision or PRU experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Support students with SEMH, SEND and additional barriers to learning.
• Create a positive, structured and engaging learning environment.
• Improve attendance, behaviour and educational outcomes.
• Work closely with families, support staff and external professionals.
