Performing Arts Teacher – Sittingbourne

Lights, camera, action! This thriving secondary school in Sittingbourne islooking for apassionate Performing Arts Teacher to inspire creativity, confidence, and self-expression in students across music, drama, and performing arts. Sittingbourne has a rich artistic history, with actor Michael Evans hailing from the town, who knows, maybe the next great performer is sitting in your classroom, waiting to shine!

Contract: Full time, Long term (September 2025 – December initially)

Salary: £162 - £223 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in music, drama, and performing arts, fostering a love for creativity.
• Encourage students to explore their talents through practical workshops, performances, and productions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop an exciting and inclusive curriculum.
• Utilize the school’s fantastic facilities to bring lessons to life.
• Support students in building confidence, teamwork, and artistic expression.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in performing arts.
• A passion for music, drama, or theatre, with the ability to inspire students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
