Join a Secondary School in Hounslow with a strong sports program as a Boys' PE Teacher from September 2025.
About the Role:
- Inspire and develop young male athletes across Key Stages 3-5, fostering a love of sports and promoting healthy lifestyles within a supportive sporting environment.
- Deliver engaging PE lessons following national curriculum guidelines, incorporating various sports and physical activities.
- Plan and deliver lessons that develop athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, using diverse teaching methods and resources.
- Assess student progress through practical assessments, fitness tests, and written work, providing feedback to support development.
- Contribute to PE curriculum development, integrating current sports science and training techniques, and participate in departmental planning.
- Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, school teams, and competitions to promote student engagement and athletic excellence.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong PE subject knowledge, including sports science, fitness training, and coaching.
- Experience teaching PE to A-Level, focusing on practical skills and theoretical understanding.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills to motivate young male athletes.
- Commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and athletic excellence.
