Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence teaching across different subjects when required.
• Flexible, reliable and proactive approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people's learning and development.

Responsibilities

Smile Education are currently recruiting for a confident and adaptable Secondary Cover Teacher to work across secondary schools in Cannock and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Secondary Cover Teacher, you'll deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absences, maintain a positive learning environment and ensure students remain engaged throughout the school day. You'll confidently manage classrooms across different year groups while following each school's behaviour policies.
