Job summary

Affinity Workforce, on behalf of Affinity Partnerships in Bristol, seeks enthusiastic Secondary teachers for KS3/KS4 across Fishponds and surrounding areas. Roles include flexible day-to-day work or longer-term opportunities starting September 2026.

Secondary Teacher (SECBRIS) Fishponds, Bristol, England

Affinity Partnerships are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Secondary school teachers.We are looking for both experienced and ECT teachers.

We are seeking adaptable teachers who feel confident teaching across KS3 and KS4 and who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day work or longer-term opportunities, we would love to hear from you, for roles starting in September 2026.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential. Strong classroom management skills and a flexible approach are essential.

The successful applicant:

  • Qualified Teachers Status.
  • Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.
  • Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
