Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting for qualified Secondary Supply Teachers to cover across Blyth, Northumberland and surrounding areas. Roles offer full-time long-term supply with flexible placements to suit your availability and a chance to impact student learning.

You’ll deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, support pupil development, and work closely with school staff following safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in a relevant subject (essential).
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
• Experience teaching within secondary KS3/KS4 with strong classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Inspire students to develop subject knowledge, confidence, and critical thinking skills.
• Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress where required.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, support staff, and the wider school community.
• Follow safeguarding and school procedures.
