Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking qualified Secondary Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in Gateshead and the surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils to reach their full potential.

Roles offer flexible full-time long-term placements with competitive daily rates and ongoing professional support from a dedicated Account Manager. You will work within safeguarding guidelines and collaborate with school staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject (essential)
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
• Experience teaching within secondary schools KS3/KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passion for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Adaptable, reliable and confident across different school settings
• Committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the UK National Curriculum
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress where required
• Collaborate with teaching staff and school community
• Follow safeguarding and school procedures
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with policies
