Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking qualified Secondary Teachers for daily supply, short-term and long-term assignments across Spalding and surrounding areas.

Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3-5, follow school schemes of work, manage behaviour effectively, and adapt to different schools and timetables while safeguarding pupils' welfare.

Qualifications

• QTS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
• Strong subject knowledge in your specialist subject(s).
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work across different schools and teaching environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with school schemes of work.
• Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and KS5 where appropriate.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt teaching as needed.
• Assess and support students' progress.
• Provide challenge and support to meet learning needs.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• Collaborate with staff and school leadership.
• Follow safeguarding policies and school procedures.
• Provide feedback to the school where appropriate.
• Ensure continuity of learning during staff absence.
• For longer-term positions, assist with planning, marking, and meetings.

The Role

What You'll Need

• Experience teaching within a secondary school environment
• Strong subject knowledge in your specialist subject(s)
