Job summary

Choice Teachers is seeking an experienced Secondary Supply Teacher for local placements across Ampthill, Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Roles include daily cover, short-term bookings and long-term assignments with weekly pay.

Applicants should have UK QTS/QTLS (ECTs welcomed) and be able to deliver planned lessons across KS3/KS4. DBS Update Service preferred; flexible to work across multiple schools.

Qualifications

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) or recognized equivalent (ECTs welcomed).
• Strong subject knowledge across any secondary discipline.
• Strong classroom management and a proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Manage student behaviour to maintain a safe, productive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to individual school policies and timetables.
• Support student progress and leave constructive feedback when required.
