Are you a dedicated and experienced SENCO looking for a new challenge?
We are working with an Ofsted Outstanding school in the London borough of Newham that is always looking to find exceptional Graduate Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs.
With different opportunities available to work with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health students, students with Autism, learning disabilities, sensory needs, and speech and language needs, we are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate SENCO to join their team.
SENCO Job Role
As SENCO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the school provides the highest quality of education for all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to identify and support children requiring additional assistance, and you will develop and implement strategies to enable them to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record as a SENCO with experience working with children with SEND, and will have a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice. You will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including parents, outside agencies, and other professionals.
NASENCO qualification is required for this role
