Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is partnering with a mainstream Secondary School in Bradford to appoint a SEMH LSA to work in the Resource Provision on a long‑term, full‑time basis from September 2026.

You will support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development, assist with targeted interventions and provide one‑to‑one support for students with additional needs. The role requires a calm, patient approach and strong behaviour management in a busy school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEMH students.
• Calm, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for education and child development.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Two school-based references.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assist with planning and delivering targeted interventions.
• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage challenging behaviour in class.
