Science Technician – Wokingham Secondary School

Location:Wokingham, BerkshireContract Type:Term-time only

Are you passionate about science and keen to support the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticScience Technicianto join our dynamic science department at a thriving secondary school in Wokingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Support teaching staff during practical sessions and demonstrations.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure health and safety standards are upheld.
  • Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist in the safe disposal of chemicals and biological waste.
  • Support students with practical work when required.

What We’re Looking For:
