Axcis Education are working alongside a mainstream secondary school in South Bristol, who are looking for a full time SEND teaching assistant to support pupils aged 11 - 16 years with a range of learning needs including ASD in their resource base . The role is full time, working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to work with small groups or on a 1-1 basis. Due to the needs of the children you must have experience in a school setting supporting students with autism. The school is a large mainstream secondary school in South Bristol which has a specific unit for all pupils with ASD and additional needs. They have several members of staff who support the students on a 1-1 and small group basis, occasionally within the mainstream class setting and sometimes in the unit. The school offers a large car park and is only a 15 minute walk from all transport links including a train station INDBRI
