Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Supply Teacher to work across secondary schools in Leicestershire from September. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour and keep students engaged throughout the day.

This role offers flexible day-to-day assignments with potential progression into long-term placements for the right candidate. Relevant QTS is desirable but not essential, and strong communication is required.

Salary: £140 to £200 per day

We are looking to recruit a Supply Teacher to provide general cover across secondary schools in Leicestershire from September. The successful Supply Teacher will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning throughout the school day. This Supply Teacher role offers flexible day-to-day assignments with the opportunity to progress into long-term placements for the right Supply Teacher. Whether you are looking to gain experience across different schools or are seeking a route into a longer-term role, this Supply Teacher position offers excellent flexibility and career progression.

The successful Supply Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) (Desireable but not a necessity)
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to confidently deliver lessons across a range of subjects
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, reliable, and professional approach to teaching
