Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a secondary school in Carlisle to appoint a qualified Secondary Teacher. The school provides education across KS3 to KS5 and seeks a confident, adaptable teacher who can plan and deliver engaging lessons while supporting students across all key stages.

The role is short to long-term with an ASAP start. Ideal candidates will hold QTS, have strong classroom management and communication skills to thrive in diverse school environments across KS3–KS5.

Qualifications

• QTS (ECTs welcome) and teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
• Experience delivering across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.

Job Title: Secondary Teacher

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £180 - £200 per day

Are you a qualified Secondary Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Carlisle? Can you confidently deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3, Key Stage 4 / KS4 and Key Stage 5 / KS5? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Carlisle looking to appoint a qualified Secondary Teacher. The school provides education across KS3 to KS5 and is looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who can positively engage students and contribute to the wider school environment.

The school is looking to take on a Secondary Teacher on a short to long-term basis, with an ASAP start available. The successful Secondary Teacher can specialise in any secondary subject and will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and support students across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The successful Secondary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within a secondary school environment
• Experience teaching across KS3, KS4 and/or KS5
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• An adaptable and proactive approach to teaching
