Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across South Liverpool and surrounding areas, supporting secondary schools with classroom supervision and pre-planned lessons.

The role offers immediate and upcoming starts, full-time and flexible opportunities, and ongoing support from a dedicated Secondary Education Consultant. This role suits graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced supervisors who value a positive learning environment and the chance to gain classroom

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils or young people.
• Background in education, tutoring, coaching, youth work, mentoring, care work, or similar role (desirable).
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence leading a classroom independently.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subject areas.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
• Ensure students remain engaged, focused, and on task.
• Support pupils with their learning where appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.
• Provide clear feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil engagement and behaviour.
• Build positive working relationships with students, teachers, and school leaders.
• Adapt confidently to different schools, year groups, and classroom settings.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absences and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere throughout the school day.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
