Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis across welcoming secondary schools in South Manchester, Stockport, and surrounding areas.

No planning or marking is required; you will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and keep students engaged. Immediate start with flexible 1–5 days per week.

Competitive daily pay of £95-£115, with local consultant support and opportunities for ongoing placements.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary school students and managing classroom behaviour.
• Desire to work with young people in a school setting.
• Confident leading groups of students aged 11-16 and following school policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absences.

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a range of welcoming secondary schools in South Manchester, Stockport, and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, support staff, or experienced Cover Supervisors looking to gain classroom experience whilst enjoying complete flexibility over their working week.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work to students in the absence of the class teacher. You will manage classroom behaviour, ensure students remain engaged with their learning, and create a positive learning environment.

No planning or marking is required.

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is beneficial but not essential. Applicants with backgrounds in coaching, tutoring, youth work, support work, or other education-related roles are encouraged to apply.
