Job summary

Academics Agency is looking for a reliable and hardworking Secondary School Cleaner to maintain high standards of hygiene across Doncaster schools, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

The position is temporary term-time only, Monday to Friday, with varied placements and flexible working hours to suit your availability. Pay ranges from £14.24 to £16.00 per hour (holiday pay included), with higher rates dependent on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in schools or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and safe chemical use.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles, desks and communal surfaces.
• Keep classrooms, corridors, toilets and dining areas clean and hygienic.
• Replenish supplies and manage waste disposal in line with school policies.
