Job summary

Academics is actively seeking a reliable Primary School Cleaner to maintain high hygiene standards across Doncaster schools, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Role is temporary (term-time only, Monday to Friday) with competitive hourly pay and holiday pay included. Experience in school or commercial cleaning and enhanced DBS are preferred, plus a proactive approach and references.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial setting desirable).
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe chemical use.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles, desks, and communal surfaces.
• Ensure classrooms, corridors, toilets, and dining areas are kept spotless and hygienic.
• Replenish supplies and manage waste disposal in line with school policies.
