Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Wirral is seeking an Attendance Administrator to join a secondary school, supporting student attendance and safeguarding. You will maintain daily attendance records, monitor patterns, and follow up on unexplained absences, working with staff, parents, and external agencies.

The role runs from September 2026 to July 2027 (term time only), with 8:00am-4:00pm hours. Arbor experience is essential, along with strong organisation, confidentiality, and driving licence

Qualifications

Experience using Arbor (essential)
Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Confidence using computer systems and attendance software
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify patterns in data
Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

Maintain and update daily attendance records accurately
Monitor attendance patterns, including absences, lateness, and early departures
Follow up on unexplained absences and ensure documentation is received
Support the school in identifying attendance trends and concerns
Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies where required
