Job summary

Academics Ltd, a reputable education recruitment agency, seeks a dynamic Secondary PE Teacher for flexible daily supply, short-term and immediate long-term opportunities across Wirral schools. You will deliver high-energy PE lessons for KS3/KS4, including GCSE theory, lead activities, and support extracurriculars.

Immediate availability and strong classroom/ safety leadership are essential to join our local network.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with UK QTS or QTLS and a degree in Physical Education or related field.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for PE KS3/KS4 and GCSE/BTEC specifications.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply; ability to commute around The Wirral.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver PE lessons across KS3/KS4, including team sports, athletics, gymnastics and fitness, plus GCSE theory.
• Cover daily or long-term blocks as required; lead or assist with extracurricular clubs and fixtures.
• Promote active lifestyles and student development with high safety standards.
