Academics is seeking a dynamic Secondary PE Teacher for flexible daily supply, short-term, and long-term opportunities across The Wirral. You will deliver high-energy PE lessons, KS3/KS4 content, and GCSE theory while promoting healthy, active lifestyles in diverse schools.

The role offers immediate start options with weekly pay and the chance to shape student fitness and teamwork. DBS on Update Service is required, with support from a local consultant.

Qualifications

• UK QTS or QTLS with degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Coaching, or a related discipline.
• Strong command of the UK National Curriculum for PE KS3/KS4, including GCSE/BCTEC specs.
• Proven leadership and group management in both outdoor and indoor sports environments.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply immediately) and ability to commute around The Wirral.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic PE sessions across KS3 and KS4, covering team sports, athletics, gymnastics, and fitness.
• Teach GCSE PE theory modules and lead or assist with after-school clubs and fixtures.
• Step into PE departments for daily cover, sickness cover, or long-term block placements.
• Promote active lifestyles, participation, and personal development for all abilities.
