Job summary

Ivy Resource Group is seeking a Leaning Support Assistant for a long-term, full-time role in Cheltenham. You will deliver tailored support to students with SEN, work with teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment, and help implement IEPs while promoting social and emotional development among learners.

The position requires 30 days of prior experience with children in the past two years, a proactive, patient attitude, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Salary is paid per day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (30 days minimum within the past 2 years)
• A proactive and patient approach to working with young learners
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs and disabilities
• Work closely with class teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development
