Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a prominent secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea, starting in September. You will work with the SEN team to support students with varying learning needs in class and in small group settings.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children or young people, strong communication skills, and a DBS Update Service clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, proactive, and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, one-to-one, and small group support.
• Assist students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
• Promote positive behaviour and student engagement.
• Support teachers in delivering inclusive lessons and creating a safe learning environment.
