Job summary

Teach Ltd is seeking a Secondary English Teacher to work across a variety of locations. This temporary role offers immediate start and requires effective classroom management and a genuine love of reading, writing and literature.

You will plan for KS3–KS5, teach English Language and Literature, and support GCSE and A-Level preparation where needed. A strong subject knowledge, commitment to safeguarding, and a flexible, professional approach are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
• Specialism in English Language and/or English Literature.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
• Previous secondary school teaching experience is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3–KS5.
