Randstad UK is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher to join our education team in Rainham. You will deliver engaging English lessons across KS3/KS4 and help students achieve their best in English Language and Literature.

QTS or QTLS is essential, with 2 years of references, an enhanced DBS, and the right to work in the UK. The daily rate is £150-£200, with weekly pay and dedicated consultant support from Randstad Education.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of the UK Secondary English curriculum (KS3/KS4).
• 2 years of teaching experience referenced or relevant teaching experience.
• Patience and ability to engage diverse learners.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Create a stimulating learning environment encouraging critical thinking and analysis.
• Assess student progress, mark coursework, and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
• Collaborate with English department colleagues on teaching strategies.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and analysis
• Assess student progress, mark coursework, and provide constructive feedback
• Ability to communicate with and encourage children of all learning abilities, including those with additional needs
• Collaborate with colleagues in the English department to implement effective teaching strategies
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progressContribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential
• 2 years of employment references / relevant teaching experience
• An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
• Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)
• Strong knowledge of the UK Secondary English curriculum (KS3/KS4)
• Being passionate about teaching and inspiring secondary students
