Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is recruiting adaptable Cover Teachers for secondary schools across West Oxfordshire. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain order while supporting students across a range of subjects.

This role offers flexible day-to-day bookings with ongoing opportunities and dedicated consultant support to help you fit work around your schedule.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised qualification is required.
• Recent UK secondary school teaching experience.
• Ability to adapt to different schools and year groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of secondary subjects.
• Keep students focused, motivated and on task.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school's policies.
• Maintain a calm, safe and positive learning environment.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of secondary subjects

• Provide useful feedback to the regular teacher or school leadership

You'll need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Recent experience within a UK secondary school
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• The flexibility to adapt quickly to different schools, subjects and year groups
