Job summary

Aspire People is actively seeking an energetic Art Teacher for a prominent secondary school in Ealing, West London. You will design and deliver dynamic Art lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence and creativity through diverse media and techniques.

This full-time role offers an immediate start, a competitive daily rate (£210-£265), and a supportive environment focused on safeguarding and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines and media.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in line with the national curriculum.
• Support pupils in developing practical skills across a range of media and artistic disciplines.
• Maintain a positive, safe and creative classroom environment that inspires and motivates learners.
• Manage pupil behaviour in line with school policies and procedures.
• Assess, monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and leadership teams.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school-specific policies at all times.

Location: Ealing, West London

Salary: £210-£265 per day, dependent on experience (M-Scale)

About the Role

As a Secondary Art Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting pupils to develop their creative skills, artistic understanding and ability to express themselves with confidence. You will maintain high standards of teaching and learning whilst fostering a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
