Second Line Support Analyst required to join an established UK managed services provider that is passionate about providing exceptional customer service to our clients. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Second Line Engineer to join our dynamic team to provide support for our clients.We offer a competitive package with a salary of up to £40k along with agile working, generous annual leave, and computer equipment. The Second Line Support Analyst will use their skill to support Windows computers, Servers, Active Directory, Mobile devices and hybrid cloud (Office 365, Azure) environments.

The Second Line Support Analyst will be aware of cyber security and have good working knowledge of customer on-premise infrastructure such as VMware, Firewalls, Networking, Disaster Recovery & Backup systems. Managed Service Provider experience is desirable.

  • Windows Desktops - all versions
  • Windows Server - all versions
  • Mail DNS (MX, DMARC, DKIM, SPF)
  • VMware & Hyper-V
  • Networking & Firewalls (Cisco, SonicWall, HP)
  • Disaster Recovery & Online Backup

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working in an IT MSP environment
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Atera, ConnectWise)
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear, user-friendly way
  • A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
