Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a high-energy Sous Chef to be number two in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and leading the kitchen team to deliver consistently great Italian dishes. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth operation, maintain high standards, and support rostering, stock, and cost control across shifts.

We offer competitive pay (£13.91–£14.94 per hour) plus tronc, regular hours at your home restaurant, and a flexible app for scheduling, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Kitchen leadership - Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef looking to step up in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
• Commercial know-how - You understand stock, waste, labour and kitchen costs and know how to support an efficient operation.
• Great standards - You care about food quality, consistency, cleanliness and food safety/HACCP.
• People skills - You're a positive, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching people and building a strong kitchen team.
• Pride in every plate - You understand that a great guest experience starts in the kitchen.

Responsibilities
