Second in Command - Gastronomy (Hiring Immediately), Dunfermline

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our team, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver an exceptional dining experience. You will be responsible for creating iconic dishes with a twist, leading a team, and maintaining a safe and motivated kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, confident, and takes their work seriously while maintaining a sense of humor. You will work with a menu full of flavour, provenance, and seasonality, showcasing modern French cuisine with both indulgent and lighter options.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Ensuring the kitchen is in excellent condition and compliant with safety standards
  • Leading and motivating the kitchen team
  • Assisting in menu development and presentation
