Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a creative and effective Second Chef for a leading location in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, with ad hoc hospitality duties and free on-site parking.

You will join a private co-educational day and boarding school in Dollar, catering for 550 students and teachers each day, delivering core lunch, breaks, and supper, with a focus on service quality and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in catering or hospitality.
• Food hygiene certificate preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food service areas for daily operations.
• Ensure meals are served promptly to set standards.
• Comply with company methods for preparation and presentation.
• Prepare, set up, serve, clear, and store food and beverages.
• Follow hygiene and safety practices to spec.
• Restock stocks and anticipate customer needs during service.
• Keep front of house informed of stock and delays.
