Job summary

Tesco UK in-store positions are designed to put customers at the centre of everything we do, offering variety, teamwork and daily challenges. Availability windows mirror scheduled shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours per week and shifts from 12 hours in some locations.

Pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, with potential additional payments in some locations. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within these windows, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.
