Job summary

National Trust is seeking a Site Manager for the Dunham Massey Christmas event. You will oversee daily operations, lead the duty management rota, and collaborate with property teams and partners to deliver an excellent visitor experience.

The role emphasises health and safety, risk management, and customer service, with flexible hours during a 12-month term and frequent event-driven shifts to support a busy festive period.

Qualifications

• Experience managing busy, customer-facing environments and/or historic properties.
• Ability to assess and manage risk with health, safety and compliance knowledge.
• Strong people skills and ability to lead through others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational management of the event.
• Lead the venue duty management rota with support from the management team.
• Ensure buildings and landscape are protected while delivering a warm welcome to visitors.
• Respond to customer enquiries and support event administration.
• Promote health and safety culture and manage risk to run the event safely and cost-effectively.
