Job summary

Lush Chelmsford is seeking Seasonal Sales Assistants to deliver 5-star customer service during our peak season. Join as a temporary team member and connect with customers while showcasing our products and ethics.

Expect in-depth product training, engaging demonstrations, and opportunities to host in-store events. Availability includes two weekdays and one weekend day, with shifts from early to late.

Qualifications

• Hours available: 4 - 16 hours per week
• Availability requirement: Must have at least two full weekdays and at least one weekend day
• Interview Date: Recruitment evening 6pm Tue 6th October, Trial shifts 9th, 10th & 11th October
• Start Date: Mon 19th Oct 2026
• End Date: Contract ends on December 31st 2026
• You must be available for early starts (7am) and late finishes (9pm)
• Temporary role ending 31st December 2026

Responsibilities

• Providing 5-star customer experience consistently, going above and beyond for our customers to be a day maker
• You will be a Lush Ambassador, championing our ethics and values during consultations
• Operating our till systems - you will be cash-handling trained
• Stocking products on the shop floor, ensuring our products are clean and inviting to customers
• Connect with customers through active listening to understand and establish their needs, recommend products, and provide relevant information and advice
• Giving generous and engaging product demonstrations, sit-down consultations and bespoke routines to fulfil the customers' needs, including hand and arm massages
• Being adaptable and solutions-focused, as no two days in retail are the same
• Hosting lively and engaging in-store parties and events
