The Scotsman Group in Scotland is seeking a Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen at St Andrews venues, delivering exceptional dishes with locally sourced ingredients. You will manage a talented team, develop seasonal menus, and ensure high standards of food safety and cost control.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef or a seasoned Sous Chef ready to step up.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to nurture and develop talent.
A passion for using fresh, local ingredients and creating innovative dishes.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
Lead and inspire a team of chefs, focusing on development and continuous improvement.
Create and develop exciting, seasonal menus that reflect the unique flavors of St Andrews.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment in line with food safety regulations.
Manage food costs, inventory, and suppliers to optimise profitability.
