Job description

• Pay - £12.21 per hour (£22,222 per year for a 35-hour week); £10.50 per hour for under 18s
• Plus up to £2,700 per year in tips (paid weekly, based on last year's earnings), giving total potential earnings of £24,922 per year.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our friendly kitchen team at our restaurant overlooking the iconic Fistral Beach in Newquay, Cornwall.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing essential support to the kitchen team
• Ensuring both kitchen and front of house have everything they need
• Keeping the area clean and organized
• Basic food preparation
• Learning from the senior team and Head Chef Will
• Brilliant tips. In addition to your salary, tips are paid weekly directly into your bank account, are not subject to NI deductions, and you even receive tips when you're on holiday!
• Staff discounts. 50% off in our restaurants, 20% in our shops and online, plus discounted hotel stays and cookery courses.
• Free meal for two. After one year with us, you'll receive a complimentary 3-course meal for two in one of our restaurants every year.
• Holiday entitlement. 28 days paid holiday annually.
