Taste Hospitality Recruitment Limited is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef for a stunning coastal hotel on the Channel Islands. This seasonal role runs from May to September, with a focus on high-volume service and delivering modern British dishes using local seafood.

The Head Chef values teamwork, consistency and attention to detail, and you will play a key part in maintaining standards during a busy summer season. This is a great opportunity for progression in a truly special location.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
• Help lead and motivate the brigade during busy service periods
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
• Train and support junior members of the team
• Ensure consistency across all sections and step up in the absence of senior chefs
