Job summary

Hand Picked Hotels is seeking a Junior Sous Chef for L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa in Jersey. The role supports the head kitchen team, assists with food preparation and service, and contributes to menu development.

Working 5 days over 7, about 45 hours weekly, you will help maintain high standards in a seaside setting and be part of a welcoming hospitality culture. The package includes a competitive hourly rate of £16.44, plus a share of service charge and extensive benefits such as 28 days

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar kitchen role in a quality hotel or restaurant is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of an exceptional culinary experience for guests.
• Assist with food preparation and service, maintain high standards of presentation and flavour.
• Contribute to menu preparation across the hotel and private dining events.
