The Best Connection are recruiting for a Horticulture Supervisor on behalf of a well-established horticultural nursery on the outskirts of Ashford.

This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys leading teams, organising workloads and working closely with operations to achieve quality and productivity targets. Supervisory experience from any industry is welcome, including manufacturing, warehousing or agriculture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Strong people management and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Hands-on leadership with willingness to support operational tasks.
• Understanding of Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate teams of Team Leaders and Operatives.
• Manage agency and seasonal workers.
• Monitor productivity and quality.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Review and update risk assessments and plan staffing.
• Support seasonal projects and activities.
