Job summary

Park Holidays UK Ltd. is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep our park well-maintained, clean, and inviting. You’ll manage lawn care, hedges, beds, and general landscaping while supporting park operations in a dynamic holiday park setting.

The role requires outdoor work, teamwork, and a willingness to wear the company uniform. The position is seasonal, full-time with a 45-hour week and a compensation package described in the advert.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and gardening.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Professional attitude and a positive, can-do personality.
• Experience in caravan park environments is an advantage.
• Plumbing experience would be beneficial, though not essential.
• Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and maintain a neat appearance.
• Flexibility in working hours to meet park needs.

Responsibilities

• Cutting grass and maintaining lawn areas to high standards.
• Trimming hedges and maintaining shrubbery.
• Laying bark and maintaining flowerbeds.
• General gardening duties, including planting and upkeep of green areas.
• Collecting and disposing of rubbish/litter and managing bin areas.
• Distributing deliveries to relevant departments.
• Assisting with moving and siting of caravans and lodges.
• Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Litter picking and keeping park areas clean.
