idverde is seeking multiple Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Burton on our cemeteries contract in Derby. You will maintain several local grounds, performing grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border care, and litter picking to keep sites in excellent condition.

This fixed-term role offers a structured schedule with Mon-Fri 7:00-16:30, providing valuable experience and the chance to grow within a leading grounds

Formación

• Previous Grounds Maintenance working experience.
• A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential

Responsabilidades

• Grass cutting using ride-on and pedestrian mowers.
• Strimming, pruning and weeding in grounds.
• Shrub and border maintenance, litter picking.
• Carry out related horticultural duties as required.

About the role

We currently require multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Burton working on our cemeteries contract in Derby. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our clients through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.
