Job summary

Barfoots of Botley Ltd is seeking motivated farm workers for the seasonal harvest. The role involves manual handling and work outdoors in all weather. Responsibilities include harvesting vegetables like asparagus, broccoli, courgettes, beans, peas and pumpkins, plus general crop care and related tasks.

The position starts in April with a fixed early start of 6:00am and offers potential bonuses. Accommodation in shared caravans can be provided close to the workplace, with transport from caravan

Job description

We’re looking for motivated and enthusiastic farm workers to join our hardworking team for the seasonal harvest.

The role involves a fair amount of manual handling, so please bear in mind it is physically demanding work, carried out outdoors in all weather conditions.

The job includes harvesting vegetables (such as asparagus, tenderstem broccoli, courgettes, beans, peas and pumpkins), as well as general crop care and other farm-related tasks.

This is a seasonal position starting in April. Please note that this role does not offer flexible hours – work normally starts at 6:00am each day.

Pay is £12.71 per hour, with the opportunity to earn bonuses depending on performance.

Applicants must have proof of the right to work in the UK.

If needed, accommodation can be provided in shared caravans (4–6 people per caravan), located close to the workplace. Transport to and from work is also available from the caravan sites.
