Job summary

Ethero Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative to perform a wide range of tasks, from operating production critical machines to preparing growing houses for the next cycle. You will work under the Farm Supervisor to complete issued tasks and ensure work is carried out safely within guidelines.

The role is primarily indoors with on-site parking. Pay is £12.71 per hour plus a piece-rate payment; full details and any required qualifications will be provided before engagement.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to follow instructions with minimal explanation.
• Accurate and methodical in completing tasks.
• Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• To perform a wide range of jobs from operating production machines to preparing growing houses for the next cycle.
• To work under the Farm Supervisor to complete issued tasks.
• To follow H&S policies and work indoors where required.
• To ensure tasks are completed to required standards within allocated times.
• To report issues to the Farm Supervisor or Farm Managers.
• To harvest product efficiently, maintaining picking performance and quality.
• To keep working area clean, tidy and safe.

Job description

• To perform a wide range of jobs, from operating production critical machines to emptying and washing growing houses ready for the next growing cycle.
• To work under the Farm Supervisor to complete issued tasks
• To work within our guidelines, ensuring the necessary H&S Policies & Procedures are practiced
• To work in different environments, the majority of which are carried out indoors
• To ensure jobs are performed to the required standards within allocated times
• To report any issues to the Farm Supervisor or Farm Managers
• To harvest product efficiently, maintaining picking performance and quality levels
• To ensure your working area is kept clear, clean and tidy

Pay: £12.71 plus piece work rate

Any lawful deductions will be explained clearly before engagement. Statutory deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions (where applicable) will apply.

Full details of the role, assignment, pay, and any applicable terms will be provided before you agree to proceed. Where required, a Key Information Document will be issued before engagement.

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday and maybe every second Saturday a short shift

Candidate Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to cope with a fast paced environment, multi-tasking when required
• Able to follow instructions with minimal explanation.
• Be accurate and methodical
• Fork Lift experience will be considered an advantage but not essential as training can be provided where required
