Job summary

Jubilee Pool Penzance, a community-owned seafront pool, seeks a Duty Manager to lead day-to-day operations and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will manage lifeguards, reception, cafe staff and volunteers, coordinating responses to incidents while upholding high health and safety standards.

The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, with pension and benefits in a stunning Cornish location. A positive, proactive leader with NPLQ and two years’ lifeguard experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NPLQ and have at least two years' pool lifeguard experience.
• Solid poolside experience and proven ability to lead teams in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of Jubilee Pool and facilities.
• Supervise lifeguards, reception, café staff and volunteers.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, ensuring safety and service quality.
• Deliver excellent customer service and staff development.
