Job summary

Queen Mary University of London is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test within IT Services for the AI & Automation Programme. You will write production-grade test code and build the test infrastructure that supports the AAA engineering team, working across Go backends and React/Next.js frontends.

The role emphasizes testing direction, regression coverage, and readable, maintainable test suites; AI agent evaluation experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience writing production-grade test code and building test infrastructure.
• Ability to write unit, integration and end-to-end tests for Go backends and React/Next.js frontends.
