Job summary

Sanctuary is hiring a Scrum Master in Worcester, offering hybrid home/office working and a salary of £64,818–£68,224 per year for a 35‑hour week. You will enable high‑performing agile delivery, coach practices, and collaborate with Product Owners to maximise value while removing impediments and dependencies across Technology teams.

You will facilitate Scrum events, monitor delivery metrics, support backlog refinement, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Degree or professional qualification required.
Comprehensive experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise environments.
Significant experience coaching teams to greater agility.
Proven experience defining and collecting delivery metrics.
Significant experience using Jira and Confluence.
Experience unblocking impediments within a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

Provide Scrum Master services to an existing agile delivery team and promote Scrum values.
Facilitate all Scrum events with clear outcomes and strong collaboration.
Identify and remove team impediments, manage risks and issues.
Improve delivery predictability, throughput and flow of work.
Support backlog refinement and readiness, track team metrics and report progress.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
