Job summary

Speedy Freight is seeking a Scrum Master to energise our engineering team across the UK. Hybrid/Remote work in Knutsford, with a full-time commitment to keep sprints on track and deliver high-quality software for customers.

You'll work closely with the Head of Technology, Head of Product, and the development team to remove blockers, improve delivery performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. If you're passionate about agile delivery, apply now.

Qualifications

Proven Scrum Master experience in a software environment.
Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban or hybrid agile delivery.
Experience facilitating cross-functional engineering teams.
Hands-on with delivery tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
Confident coaching teams and improving agile ways of working.

Responsibilities

Lead all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
Protect the team from interruptions and scope creep to keep sprint delivery on track.
Remove blockers quickly and elevate delivery risks.
Ensure work entering a sprint is ready and completed to standards.
Maintain sprint boards and delivery data in Azure DevOps/Jira.
Track engineering performance metrics and support reporting.
Coach developers in agile best practice and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Product and Tech leaders to plan and deliver.
