Job summary

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is seeking a Senior scrub role within its theatre team. You will scrub for a varied surgical caseload and supervise junior colleagues to maintain high standards of patient care.

This role requires registration with the NMC or HPC, post-registration theatre experience across multiple specialties, and a commitment to flexible weekend and on-call work within a 37.5-hour week.

• Post-registration theatre experience.
• Experience across listed surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures as a scrub nurse or theatre practitioner (ODP).
• Work across a varied surgical caseload.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the theatre team.
• Deliver care that is clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate to each patient.
• Use communication skills with patients and the team.
• Use modern theatre technology, equipment and facilities.
