Job summary

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is seeking a Theatre Scrub Practitioner (RGN/ODP) to join our busy theatre team on a permanent full-time basis. You will work at Leicester Hospital with weekend on-call and share responsibility for high standards of care.

As a Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner, you must be registered with the relevant body (NMC/HPC) and bring post-registration experience across a wide caseload including general, orthopaedics, urology, gynae, ENT, plastics, dental and vascular.

Qualifications

• Registered Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) with relevant qualifications.
• NMC or HPC registration is required.
• Experience across General, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynae, ENT, Plastics, Dental and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with a theatre team to manage a varied caseload.
• Supervise, support and develop junior team members.
• Deliver patient care that is clinically effective and evidence-based.
• Utilise state-of-the-art theatre technology and facilities.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences and outcomes.
